In Memory of Humberto

Today we pay tribute to our dear colleague, Humberto, Electrical Engineer, who dedicated more than two decades of commitment and professionalism to our institution and whom we physically lost this past July. From 2004 until his passing, his talent and dedication were essential in connecting autoanalyzer equipment to Galen and in export projects that marked a turning point in our development.

Beyond his brilliant technical work, he was a close companion, always willing to help, and an exemplary father and husband, loved by all. His legacy is reflected not only in the projects he drove forward but also in the human mark he left on each of us.

His career was officially recognized with the Mario Muñoz Monroy Medal, awarded for more than 25 years of uninterrupted work in the field of informatics and communications—a symbol of his perseverance and professional excellence.

His memory will remain alive in our community, as an inspiration of dedication, friendship, and love for family and work
