Accedo/ExperLab
It allows the management and generation of Knowledge Bases based on Production Rules. EXPERLAB can communicate with external programs, allowing the construction of both classic Expert Systems through human-machine interaction, as well as autonomous and hybrid Expert Systems.
The Expert Systems Laboratory (EXPERLAB) allows Knowledge Engineers to create, update, and generate different Knowledge Bases, which use Production Rules and Propositions as their primary form of knowledge representation. It has a very comfortable and easy-to-use user interface. With minimal experience in managing computer applications and web browsing, anyone wishing to use this tool will be able to easily and securely create their own expert system for the subject they need, as it is designed to solve a large number of problems for which expert knowledge is essential.
How is EXPERLAB structured?
EXPERLAB is composed of several modules that allow you to perform the following functions:
- Knowledge Acquisition: Create and manage Knowledge Bases.
- Generate Knowledge Base: After creating and managing the Knowledge Base, this function allows you to compile the Base into the format used by the Expert System (ES).
- Use Expert System: Allows you to use the Expert System's Inference Engine, with a user interface that allows you to verify the Expert System's operation based on the generated Knowledge Base.
Production Rules are built in the Rule Editor, where you can both edit and validate the rules. During editing, the Editor allows you to view the rules in natural language.
To verify the operation of the ES, there is a User Interface that allows the Inference Engine to interact with the desired Knowledge Base.
